Johor polls (Live Updates): Nominations close, ROs to announce candidates


Returning officer Mohd Izzul Helmi Ahmad announcing that the nomination for the Machap state seat has been closed at 10am.

JOHOR BARU: Nominations for all 56 seats in the 16th Johor election closed at 10am Saturday (June 27).

The returning officers (RO) at the respective centres will soon officially announce the list of candidates.

Once this is completed, a 14-day campaign period begins as set by the Election Commission (EC), running until 11.59pm on July 10.
