Joseph Baena claimed first place in his debut bodybuilding competition recently, taking home wins in three categories at the NPC Natural Colorado State competition, Page Six reports.
The 28-year-old won the Men’s Open Bodybuilding Heavy Weight Class, Men’s Classic Physique True Novice, and Men’s Classic Physique Novice divisions. He marked the achievement on Instagram with a photo of himself posing on stage and the caption, “Mission Accomplished!”
The victory followed training sessions with his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, which Baena documented on social media.

The 78-year-old former bodybuilder, who won seven Mr. Olympia titles and five Mr. Universe titles during his career, watched his son lift weights at the gym, Page Six noted. Baena shared his father’s training approach in a post, writing, “you have to shock the muscles!”
Baena is the son of Schwarzenegger and Mildred Baena, who worked as a housekeeper for the family. Schwarzenegger has four other children with his ex-wife, Maria Shriver: Katherine, 36, Christina, 34, Patrick, 32, and Christopher, 28.
The Schwarzenegger family has drawn attention for fitness achievements in recent years, Page Six said. Christopher Schwarzenegger was recognised last August for a weight loss transformation he began in 2019. He said the change started after he realised his weight kept him from participating in activities like skydiving. - cleveland.com/Tribune News Service
