Renowned Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang recently marked his 72nd birthday with his annual charity event, and the occasion was nothing short of star-studded.

Organised to raise funds for the renovation of a temple in Hangzhou, China, the celebration, held on April 13 – a day before Tsang’s birthday – drew a host of celebrity guests.

Among the notable attendees were former Category III star Amy Yip, actor Michael Miu, TVB actress Samantha Ko and more.

All eyes were on Yip, 58, who stole the spotlight in a shimmering gold cheongsam paired with knee-high boots.

In an Instagram post, veteran media personality Cha Siu-yan revealed that the charity event successfully raised HK$6mil (RM3.4mil).

But the festivities didn’t end there.

On April 14, Tsang, who also serves as the general manager of TVB, threw another round of celebration with a close-knit group of friends, including singer Alan Tam, actor Tony Leung Ka-fai and more.

Tsang’s eldest daughter, Taiwanese television host Bowie, was also present to share the special day with her father.

In a video shared on Xiaohongshu (Red Note), Tsang appeared to be in good spirits as he thanked everyone for attending his birthday party.

“I wish everyone here good health and happy days,” he said, before blowing out the candles on his cake and proceeding to sing the Chinese and English versions of the birthday song.

Former TVB actress Anna Kamiyama also shared a photo with Tsang on her social media account, alongside a caption that read: “Happy birthday to my dearest Eric Tsang.”
