For the past few years, fashion and food have been slowly colluding and finding new meaning in each other, through collaborations, cafes and celebrity chef partnerships.
This emerging trend has also hit Coach, the legendary Manhattan-based handbag maven, which was established all the way back in 1941.
Under the stewardship of the brand’s creative director Stuart Vever, Coach Coffee Shop was launched in 2023 as a lifestyle driven café concept epitomised by the brand’s vision of expressive luxury, solidifying that F&B and high fashion can meld fluidly with each and engage new audiences looking for a serving of culinary adventure with their haute couture.
The F&B arm of the luxury fashion brand has since spread its wings to South-East Asia, with outlets in Singapore, Jakarta and Malaysia.

In Malaysia, the brand now has four F&B outlets to its name, with its most recent outpost newly opened in Sepang’s Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA.
The Sepang outlet is located adjacent to the Coach retail store and serves the brand’s signature Americana food range, including a range of surprisingly wallet-friendly fare like the classic Beef Hotdog (RM24) which is a tasty offering that hinges on classic accoutrements like a fleshy bovine sausage as well as pickle relish, ketchup and mustard on a toasted brioche bun. It’s a taste of the US that also delivers comfort and indulgence.
Perhaps the stand-out offering on the menu is the Grilled Cheese (RM26) which is essentially a blanket of ooey-gooey melted cheddar, gruyere and extra sharp cheddar couched in a house-made grilled sourdough bread. This is a seriously good grilled cheese sandwich – hot to the touch, packed with creamy cheese oozing out of its pores and rounded out by bread that has a sturdy build complemented by an easy yield.

From the drinks options, definitely look at indulging in the Hot Chocolate (RM23) which is enhanced with warm milk and a block of chocolate cut into a signature “C” shape for an extra layer of cocoa-laden hedonism.
The brand also has a range of signature soft serve ice-creams, priced at RM20 each. The Nasi Lemak is available only at the Mitsui KLIA outlet and is a strange, slow charmer that actually nails all the key ingredients in a nasi lemak (even the sambal) and yet somehow manages to churn this into a pretty good ice-cream.
