Chance to savour diverse Malaysian flavours in Putrajaya

Newly renovated Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya which reopened in November 2023, is unveiling its Iftar Citarasa Kita Buffet at Palms Cafe for the fasting month.

Running from March 2 to 30, the buffet promises to be a culinary journey featuring cherished Malaysian dishes.

On the buffet, diners can savour rich and diverse flavours from the country’s multicultural landscape.

Set within the recently refurbished Palms Cafe, the buffet takes on a batik-themed setup which complements the modern interior.

Start with an array of appetisers including kerabu and seafood on ice that set the stage for the main courses.

Local favourites of Kambing Masak Hitam, Gulai Masak Udang, Chinese-style Nestum Prawns, Roasted Beef Short Ribs, Oven-baked Salmon, Aloo Gobi and Baingan Masala are among the sumptuous main courses.

From the action stations are Sup Berempah with assorted meats and nasi kukus with Lamb Shank Kuzi, Daging Masak Lemak, Gulai Kambing, Kari Ikan, Ayam Goreng Berempah and Paru Goreng Berempah.

Over at the Grill Counter, one can delight in Jumbo Chicken Sausages, BBQ Chicken Wings, Fresh River Prawns, otak-otak, ayam percik and ikan bakar.

Popular crowd favourites kambing golek and satay are part of the lineup too.

The Aneka Roti Corner has murtabak, roti planta, roti john, roti jala and chicken tortilla wrap while fried mee mamak, kuey teow goreng and nasi goreng kampung will be whipped up at the Mamak Corner.

For more local dishes, head to the Noodle Counter for mee curry and asam laksa.

Besides, the Goreng Goreng, ABC and Kids corners, there is the dessert section with an assortment of kuih, cakes and pudding as well as the chocolate fountain.

The Bread and Butter Pudding is a dessert recommended by the chef.

Early bird vouchers are available until March 15 at RM134 nett per adult, RM67nett per child or senior citizen.

The regular price for the buffet is RM168nett per adult and RM84nett per child or senior citizen.
